Full Armor from the 6th Century

Haniwa are terracotta clay figures that were created during Japan's Kofun period. This Haniwa shows us how warriors looked in ancient Japan. He is wearing keikō armor with a long, thick sword at his waist. His right hand is on the hilt, and his left holding a bow, with a quiver of five arrows on his back. This haniwa was originally painted colorfully in white, gray and red.
