This 15th-century armor was handed down through the Akita family, who were the lords of Miharu in Mutsu Province. Its components are laced with a combination of navy and crimson threads, creating a splendid appearance with intricate decoration throughout. The helmet features a striking kuwagata crest and a sun-shaped ornament, both particularly notable for their elegance and fine craftsmanship.
